Harlem Lofts, Inc. was retained as a Buyer Broker in October, 2006 by a private investor with a clear vision. Our challenge was to find a building that he could convert to condominiums, keeping one condominium for his family and selling the rest. Harlem Lofts, Inc.'s initial research list consisted of 80 properties. After sharing our knowledge of Harlem and consulting with the client about what areas would best suit his needs, we narrowed the list down to about 12. After a couple of interesting negotiations to no avail, we located a building on 111th Street that worked perfectly for our client. He entered into a contract within 45 days and closed on the property in February, 2007.
